Fri, 21 September 2007 "Wahe Guru" is a mantra often used in Kundalini Yoga. There is no exact definition, but it is an homage to the Supreme Guru, or God. "God is the ultimate guru." It is said that chanting this mantra will bring happiness and prosperity. Comments[14] |
Fri, 11 May 2007 My first mix, featuring the mantra "Nam Myoho Renge Kyo," a powerful Buddhist mantra that translates as "the teaching of the lotus flower of the wonderful law." The mantra is used to develop love, compassion, wisdom, and enlightenment. More information on the mantra can be found here. Thanks to hip-hop singer Alex Morissen of Broken Doll for contributing to the chant. Comments[14] |
Mon, 5 March 2007 The sound "om" is said to be the sound of creation. It is said that chanting "om" can bring peace and connection with the divine. "Om" is also thought to clear out negative energy in the space in which it is chanted. Special thanks to Gabriel Gonsalves of Empowered Actors for lending his voice for the beautiful "om" in this track. Comments[15] |
